When a little child goes to bed….they shouldn’t be afraid of what theyu might hear, what they might wake up to, or what might happen to them if they are not paying attention to what’s outside their door.

You, your little brother or sister, your cousin, or even your friends should not have to live with monsters.

Please watch this video and be that helping hand in any way that you can.

Hollaback

As the psa states:

If street harrasment is ok, then groping is ok.

If groping is ok, then beating is ok.

If beating is ok, then rape….is ok.

Violence Against women is simply not ok!

http://www.ihollaback.org/

Saying things about and to a women on the street is just simply –   NOT RIGHT!

Opt4 an end to street harassment.

Opt 4 gender equality.

Opt 4 nonviolence.

opt 4 healthy relationships with women!

As we sit reading blogs and things on our computer we know that there ar eproblems out there…but how can we help?

The united nations have given us a way…especially if you are a male gendered person:

“I call on all men and boys everywhere to join us. Violence against women and girls will not be eradicated until all of us – men and boys – refuse to tolerate it. ”

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon

Hello Chad Herman,

The United Nations Secretary-General’s campaign UNiTE to End Violence against Women has launched a global t-shirt design competition for young men who are 18 to 25 years old.

Are you a young man between the ages of 18 and 25 who wants to take a stand? Do you know someone who would? Spread this action alert to the men and boys in your life and encourage them to use their imagination to create designs that speak out against all forms of violence against women and girls.

Winners will travel to New York, USA, to participate in the UN official observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against
Women, on 22 November at the UN Headquarters.

This is your chance to imagine a world without violence against women and girls, think big, and speak out through your art. Visit http://unitetshirtcompetition.org/ to take action!

Sincerely,

Say NO – UNiTE Team
